The Pastor's Family

The Padgett Family
(December, 2008)
Rosana is in her 10th year as an ESL teacher and reading teacher for the
county schools. I am Pastor at Glasgow Bible Church. I enjoy the
ministry and the many opportunities for service that Glasgow/Barren
County provides.
Miki
is in Iraq working for the Department of Defense. He no longer has to do
“really dangerous” stuff. He was a scout for IED’s for 15 months the
first time over (looking for those roadside booms). Four exploded
outside his humvee. He has some hearing loss and had concussions. He
kids about it and says he is now certifiably crazy. Presently he is a
Project Manager and trains and maintains other soldiers and does not
leave the base camp…. (He says!?!?).
Dan
and family live in Hopkinsville, Ky about two hours away. Dan is very
gentle and kind. He has a real heart for the Lord and is growing along
with his family in life experiences. He has a good job and so does his
wife Amy.
Little Joe, 18 months old, is a true blessing. He had open heart surgery
in July and is doing wonderfully. We praise the Lord for answered prayer
on his behalf.
Jessica
lives in Bowling Green, Ky (30 minutes away) and will finish her
elementary education degree at Western Kentucky University in December
of 09. She is a real “Joy” (her middle name). She is sold out to the
Lord. Wants to travel more and would like to spend some time in Spain
and Africa. She just returned from a two week mission trip to India. She
also works at Mammoth Cave National Park.
Joel
is a freshman at Western Kentucky University. He was
awarded the ROTC scholarship for his four years of study. He has been a
blessing and very involved in the ministry of the
church, youth, AWANA,
praise team and etc. He went to Costa Rica with me in ‘02 and ‘07. He
also spent three weeks in the jungles of Paraguay in ’06 with his big
brother Miki living with a missionary friend of mine who ministers to
the Ache Indians.

God
bless you all.
