Memorial Day Weekend was a special time at Glasgow
Bible Church. The 623rd Artillery Unit of the Kentucky Army National
Guard was honored along with all veterans. The American Flag was
presented to the music of the Star Spangled Banner, the pledge of
allegiance was said by all, and "Taps" was played in memory of the
thousands who have given their lives for our freedom. Mayor Darryl
Pickett gave a special greeting and prayer and Major Allen Boone brought
a stirring message. It was a great day!
