Adult Studies
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Glasgow Bible Church offers Sunday School classes at 9:00 am
every Sunday morning for the individual who wants to have a
personal inductive Bible study time. At the present we offer
three classes. Anyone may attend any one of the classes
depending upon his or her needs or desires.
BIBLE EXPOSITION
The Pastor does extensive Bible study and preparation for
his Sunday morning messages. He provides a printed outline
of the sermon for each person. He uses Power Point with each
message to visually illustrate the ideas being presented. He
also makes use of video and audio presentations to enhance
the learning process.
Pastor Mike teaches verse by verse through the Bible book in
focus at any given time. He seldom preaches topically but
does adjust his Bible exposition for special days and
seasons.
The Sunday evening service is more laid back and open to
discussion of the text being considered. In the evening our
emphasis is on children and youth ministries during the
school year. One of our elders and/or the Pastor teaches the
Adult Bible Study during the summer months. The summer is a
special time of Bible studies and fellowship. There is no
Sunday evening Adult Bible Study during the fall and winter
months.
DISCIPLESHIP
Pastor Mike offers discipleship along with the ladies in the
church for those who desire a personal approach to spiritual
growth. These sessions are weekly and can last for a year or
longer. These are only for the believer who definitely wants
a disciplined walk with the Lord and encouraging
accountability.
LADIES BIBLE STUDIES
Ladies Bible studies are planned and usually offered on
Wednesday evenings throughout the year. A varied assortment
studies have been presented and will continue to be
available. |
